This is definitely going to be the Madonna ‘cougar’ album: Cougardonna

I Fucked Up, Girls Gone Wild, I Don’t Give A, Gang Bang?!

She’s obviously revisiting her inner Dita.  B-day, (“Oh, hell naw,” says Beyonce) is about getting older, and Madonna preparing for her upcoming birthday.  A crack at ageism apparently.  Maybe this album will have some brains behind it.  Too much fluff for my liking from Madonna over the past ten years or so, and the so-called ‘cerebral’ Madonna album back in 2003, “American Life”, read like a Kabbalah class.  Let’s see how four years of singledom have treated Madonna since her last musical outing.

The video for “Give Me All Your Lovin’” looks top-notch and original.  Too bad about the song.  The vid does scream “Target ad”.  At least she’s trying.  It’s been a long time since we got a good Madonna video, and Madonna wheeling a pram?  That fucking rocks!  Maybe Madonna does have a sense of humor. 

The album cover for MDNA is giving me migraines.  

It’s time for Madonna to give us all her loving, not the other way around.  She’s been slacking off for far too long while many have just gone along for the ride and applauded.  Surprise us, bitch, and we will respond!  Do more than one good music  video per album for once!  That’d be a nice start.
